My formal education began when I was five years old. I attended first and second grade at an old schoolhouse in West Virginia, and was taught to read and write by the same school marm who schooled my father. I grew up - for the most part - in the Orient and I was schooled by a Chinese Tutor - to speak, read and write in Mandarin. I enjoy good memories of childhood often - and, I like to bake and garden. I graduated from High School in '69 and went on to receive certification as a stenographer that same year.
