A Los Angeles native that received her MS in biomedical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina, she has penned essays and speeches for various competitions. The best toys that I grew up with were those that kept me active: roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, baseball mitts, footballs, and basketballs. Any toys that allowed me to be outside and moving around were ideal for me! My seminal pair of skates had those funky metal wheels.
