I am an artist, I love oil painting, acrylics, bead work is huge with me. I design my own clothes, sew quilts.
Writing is another self expression that I love. I think this site will be a wonderful way to express my thoughts.
I am a retired hospice nurse, and have many stories to tell. I have many obstacles to over come in my life, and who doesn't, writing just seems to make it all a little easier to go through. If you are able to share your writing, and get feedback on it, I think that is tremendous.

I had worked my way through nursing school, being a single mother of three young girls, who grew up too fast. They spent time with their father, a man that didn't have patience with me, but seemed to do OK with the kids.
My first job was at a hospice, I was drawn there. I didn't want to work with people who were pulled through life when they should of been let go.
At first my fear of death was a problem, I would go home to nightmares almost every night. I watched in horror the many people who came with cancer or some other dreadful disease. The criteria was, you had 6 months or less ...
