By merit of being within the borders of the United States, an illegal alien is in violation of the law. Depending on his past history, he may have committed a misdemeanor or a felony offense. By ignoring this, we ignore the principle of the law. For a moment, let us presume that this particular law is "unfair". Does that give a Mexican the right to violate it?
