About me - Terri Odland

About me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother to 3 beautiful children. My life has had alot of sudden changes to it in the last 2 years. On Jan 5,2006 I lost my 2 daughters in a car accident and this has redefined who I am and how I feel. Before that day I would have had a whole different about me to write but now every things seems to filter through that day.
I have a wonderful husband that I love very much, without him I don't know how I would have been able to endure this time. I have a son that has given me 3 beautiful grandchildren. I don't get to see them as often as I like but that's OK, I've always said that with him living out of town it gives me a reason to go on a road trip.
I really do have a good life and the biggest part of my life is my relationship with God. Without him, my life would have lost all meaning, he has always been faithful to direct me in the right way of thinking so that i would not give up when things seemed really hopeless.
I started to journal right before the girls accident and I found that it gave me a great release to put down my feeling on paper, even if no one was going to read it.
