While most things in life don't come easy to me, writing is the one thing that does. It is something that I excelled in at school and college and is something that I enjoy doing.
Hi, my name is Amelia, most people who know me call me Ami. I have been married for 16 years to my high school sweetheart, and we have three children, ages 10, 8, and 5, and a puppy named Scotch.
I graduated college this year, which is something that I am most proud of. My degree is in Health Care Administration, however currently, I am an Advisor for lia sophia, a stay at home mom, and concentrating on my writing.
I have many hobbies but reading is my passion. It is from reading that I developed a desire to write my own stories. My mantra is that you just can't mess it up. There is no wrong way to do it. The important thing is to do it.
My passion is ...
Life, and everything wonderful in it. My family, my home, happy kids, the fun stuff, reading, writing, good wine, a warm fire, and the promise of tomorrow.
I know too much about ...
Amish people and culture.
My parents always told me ...
"As long as you did your best, then we are proud of you"
My childhood ambition ...
To get married and have babies. (I did it by the way:)
My favorite memory ...
This is for me....
Why I write ...
Because...there is something in me that I need to say, and one of these days, I'm going to get it just right.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Gone with the Wind/My kids fighting over their DS game/My 5 year old sing "Good Morning Baltimore" from Hairspray
My first job ...
Working at a jewelry store for $4.00 an hour.
My best moment ...
When I said, "I Do", because that moment has led to so many more...
My inspiration ...
My husband Lee.
