I was a freelance journalist for 5 years before having my second child and deciding to become an at home mom. I love to write so I decided why not continue writing articles for sites such as Helium. I was young poet of the year for three years running and have had more pieces published than I can remember. Writing is my passion and I try to write as often as possible.

Why I write ...

I write to get rid of my stress. Pouring my heart out into my writing is the only way I know to relax.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I listen to country or classical. I have certain homemade cd's that I listen to that have an odd combo of beethoven and shania twain. I read everything I can get my hands on.

My first job ...

I began hostessing in a resteraunt when I was 13. I have worked ever since.

My best moment ...

Last Christmas when I finished ghost writing my first book and saw it in print.

My inspiration ...

My kids are my inspiration, when I get frustarated they keep me going.
