My name is Harriet and I am 57 years young.
I came from a pretty typical background of middle America. I grew up with a social awareness that was stirred out of the shadows of the changes that were this country's politics. Where prosperity and poverty were so influenced after Pearl Harbor and the Korean Conflict that excitment was high for the hope that was our America. Watching this country and at times experiencing the changing social climate for our own family, I both loved and hated this country as we all lived and watched the transistions that this growing country made. I have a high respect for all individuals that serve in the Armed Forces and believe with all my heart that, with God, there is no way to separated his will from that of our country's political destiny.
I have an older sister and brother who were very clear that they didn't like being my babysitter in my younger years. But as sibling rivalrie's go, out of all of that, we still were guided to grow up with a love and loyality to each other that families can only have when God is kept as a center or focus point.
I have been married twice, raised two kids from my first marriage, worked different jobs, owned and rode my own motorcycle, sang with a Christian group, relocated and giving up my home more than once in my life and have lived through enough experiences to write for the rest of my life and not be able to cover them all. I love to cook and enjoy watching people's reactions as they eat what I fix. I am a thinking person that takes time to pray and spend time with God. I find people interesting and I am always willing to help when help is needed. I love to write and express myself through the medium of painting a thought. I can be opinionated as well as observant. God gave me an abstract sense of humor that sometimes shows up in how I interpret life and things that happen to me and people around me. I have been given eyes that see beyond the obvious and a heart that is sensitive to the unspoken.

Taking this question into consideration on a broader thought, since Jesus only had twelve disciples should we judge his promoting of the faith as a failure for lack of participation?
Seeing that each disciple carried the Gospel to the far corners of the known world and promoted the beginning churches of the ancient world, I would scarcely say that the small crowd was ineffective.
I don't think man has learned one thing more leading up to and in to the twenty-first century that sets him a head of those people that were alive in the time of Christ. Our reasoning is still proving to be ...
