It would appear that I've been blessed with what some call "the artists' curse". Thanks to my genes, I am predisposed to enjoy the more "artsy" side of life and to become overwhelmingly bored with "the norm". Unless something is new and exciting, or challenging my brain in some way, my attention span runs short.
I am an artist. And yes, I do stop to smell the roses. I stroll casually and tend to be exceptionally attentive to my surroundings. I love the sounds of birds chirping, the shapes I can find in the clouds, the sound of cobblestone under my feet.
I have been an avid writer and reader since the time I could first write and read. I am also fortunate enough to have received high quality education, and what I took from that was excellent creative writing, spelling and grammar skills - skills which are tremendously instrumental in pursuing my career as a freelance writer.
Add to that my passion for debates, for community, for the environment and for law, and you will find the ingredients that make up a potentially successful writer.
My passion is ...
life, reading and writing.
I know too much about ...
too many things...
My parents always told me ...
that I should be a writer. But since when do children heed their parents' advice?
My childhood ambition ...
to be a well-known, published author.
My favorite memory ...
I suppose my wedding day is my favorite memory.
Why I write ...
I love to share views with others and to entertain, educate and inspire through my writing.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I'm currently reading an Ann Rule book (Too Late to Say Goodbye), I'm not watching anything aside from my computer screen and the text scroll as I type.
My first job ...
I think my first job was waiting tables at a pub on my college campus. If I worked before then, it would have been at a pizza and sub shop on Martha's Vineyard...
My best moment ...
I have too many best moments to name just one.
My inspiration ...
Lance Armstrong (for overcoming obstacles and proving we can all be strong if we try) and Ann Rule, because she is such a bright, successful woman, and it would seem based on her various positions and careers in her life that she and I share so many interests.

Gore's curiosity about the global warming issue (or "non-issue" to some) was first awakened by a college professor long before Gore was even a member of the political scene. As a politician, Gore introduced Congress to global warming in the 1970...
