: About Me

I was raised as the son of a 30 year U.S. Navy career man. My childhood was spent on the east coast, moving every 3 years to another crowded military neighborhood. Each move brought on the "new-kid" bullying which taught me that it was necessary to stand-up for yourself. Although I was an intelligent child, some of my decision-making erred to regular violence in the schools and neighborhoods, especially as a 2-digit, almost teen in south-west Philadelphia. With Dads' retirement, an established 'home' and 3 years in the military myself,(not to mention the realization that even the winner of a 'fight' suffers), that violent behavior fell to the wayside.

The sword isn't always necessary to defend yourself or to establish your rights as member of the human race, although the pen and/or the tongue sometimes just isn't effective enough to penetrate the thick skulls of a lot of the tyrants and well-established bullies in this world. But through communication and a desire to work together, the oppressed majority in this world are capable of bringing down these intentionally greedy and systematic criminals and regaining the right to prosper as a whole without capitalizing on the kindnesses and weaknesses of others.

I'm not afraid to speak out but I am reluctant to resort to physical abuse in order to put an end to physical abuse. Forums such as this are well read and can inspire those much more intelligent than myself to accept the challenge and offer those like me the avenues to support for regaining our God-given, human rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Something needs to get done before one of our future generations decides that violence is the only solution.

"You can't see the forest for the trees". It seems as simple as to concentrate our energy on the laws and practices of the two (2) government organizations most involved with the operation of our current health-care system. The Federal Trade Commission in regards to advertising the intention to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease is a real fine place to start and the Food and Drug Administration regarding how they interpret that intention would be the perfect follow up.
