As a graduate of Green Mountain College, I have a B.A. Environmental Studies, and I am the Laboratory Technician at Aquacheck Laboratory in Weathersfield, VT.

I reside in Southern Vermont, but grew up in the small milltown of Rumford, located in Western Maine. It's there that my passion for the natural sciences began to develop. Although my focus in college was more in the area of geology, I currently find myself enjoying the challenges of my job's focus on water chemistry and microbiology.

I do not consider my writing to be strong, powerful, or even "good", but I have decided to use it as a way of keeping my mind from getting too lazy.

When not working, I find myself reading, relaxing with my husband, and dabbling in some art and paper crafts.
