About me

I was born in Pottstown ,Pa. in 1951.I have been living in Augusta, Me. for 25 years now.I am 57 years old, with daughters and grandchildren. They share a special place in my heart and life. That is me in the photo. I'm in a power-chair now, since this picture, which was two years ago, unable to walk anymore. However, it has not slowed my ambitions to do the things in life that I love. My favorite books to read as a child were, "LITTLE WOMEN", "HEIDI" and "MOBY DICK". My interests and hobbies are music, playing guitar and keyboard. I've been writing poetry since I was 19 years old. Hopefully I'll publish a book at some point. There have been too many complications through the years to get that far, tho' maybe one day. I love writing and poetry is my best hobby of all. I am very opinionated and easy to get along with.Writing comes very easy for me and I enjoy it so much. I have won many editor choice awards and certificates for skilled poet and skilled reviewer of poetry, and for many other achievement as a professional poet writer.I've recieved awards as a professional poet as well. You are invited to visit poetry.com. Look under>references and type in my name and click submit. Enjoy reading! I also have accomplished courses/degree in child psycology. I enjoy being creative and enjoy puzzle books like Seek A Words, Circle Words, etc. My single favorite color is royal blue, though my two favorite colors together are red and black. I have a pet Maine Coon cat named "BUDDY" which I love very much. He loves to play a lot and his favorite thing is to be brushed and he can't get enough of that! He is just wonderful. He's very smart as well. One of the smartest cats I believe to ever have owned. I enjoy him very much. I enjoy this site and hope to continue writing here as well.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Writng on just about anything that comes to mind.

I know too much about ...

Understanding peoples problems and listening to them.I know how to help through my own tough experiences in my life. How to be that shoulder for them to lean on. But, I find that to be a good thing..

My parents always told me ...

once a liar, always a liar. Don't be anyones fool. If you play with fire, you will no doubt get burned.

My childhood ambition ...

Reading and writing and to be creative, but to just let me be me.

My favorite memory ...

When my father would take my brother and I to carnivals and parks.

Why I write ...

it's from the heart and to get my point across. It's sort of therapy for me, to get things off my chest, putting my thoughts into perspective to help me understand myself better for the person who I really am.That's where my poetry comes in.It helps me to express my feelings and ideas happy or sad situations, etc.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

music, I am at my best and very relaxed, always. it's my escape and kind of peaceful.

My first job ...

was in a weaving factory making pantyhose for LEGS PANTYHOSE Company.

My best moment ...

is giving birth to my children and it doesn't get better than that!

My inspiration ...

is being inspired from what I've learned through life and passing it on to others.

'Don't pity me" It' been long time to heal Hard to explain how I feel What is it that you see When you're looking at me I've given it my best thru' the years Thru' all of my many extended fears The times have been many and few For all that I've steadily been thru' A constant task too heal Doesn't change how I feel So don't waste time to pity me I've done it enough already you see.
