About me - Jessica Woollard

About me

I was born a poor black child.... no, wait, that was Navin R. Johnson. I must say, though, I do feel a tiny little bit of excitement when the new phone book arrives. Is that odd?

I work in radio, and most of what I do is talk, but I also get to have some of the coolest experiences, like meeting artists, going to award shows, and the fact that I get to spend 5 hours of my day playing music makes it a pretty good gig.

I started my career as Dee, the sarcastic sister on "What's Happening".... no, wait, that wasn't me either. I also have not ever been crowned Miss America, nor have I been president of any countries, large or small. I was once treasurer in a women's media association, if that counts for anything.

I have won awards for copy writing, and have lived all over the country in the course of my radio career. I love to write, I take any chance I can get to be creative, whether it be on the air, in writing, or with website design, most of which I do for myself and friends.
