: About Me

How can someone describe who they are and truly receive understanding? Is it through titles? Mom, daughter, wife. Is it through the actions they perform? They volunteer, they read certain authors, they sing in the shower, or they perform a particular job. Is it simply who they want to become that strikes a note with those around them?

As for me, I have a job that works well with my life. However, work and money are merely tools. Mainly, I enjoy my children's laughter, the gleam in their eyes and the joys they express. I relish the time I spend with my husband each day and they way we can make each other laugh after so many years together. And though I realize how blessed I am, I still desire more at times. I want to feel a cool breeze on my face, to hear it rustle the crips leaves, to breathe in the mist of the morning as the deer graze and wander, eyeing me, aware but unafraid.
