I am a 54 year old disabled veteran. I still work full time and am the father of 4 grown women and grandfather to 7 grandkids(soon to be 8). I have lived in East Tennessee for 20 years and am still captivated by these old foothills.
I sat in the pew stunned, outside myself, and empty. People moved all around me but I was unaware, even the sounds were muted as if coming through the glass walls of a bell jar.
