I have been writing since I was very young (mom says about four or five years old.) In addition to writing for clients, I have been published in the Op-Ed page of our local paper and in several online networking magazines. I am currently working on a sci-fi/horror novel. You can read part of it at my website, storiesbyedwardowen.com.
I am excited to have somewhere to publish my writing and have it critiqued by my peers. I am very open to improving my skills. Like anything else, improvement comes with practice.
I have been married for sixteen years and have three sons. We live in the suburbs of Southern California. I am currently working as V.P. of Sales and Marketing for a home remodeling company. I have been a general contractor for the last four years and currently teach others who are preparing to take the contractor's exam.
I would love to write professionally, but I am realistic enough to know that it takes time and persistence to be a professional writer. This seems like a great place to start. I welcome any input or even a note to say "Hi." Have a great day and thanks for checking out my bio.

Technically, it was a rhetorical question, requiring no answer on my part, but my mouth can't seem to stay shut in such situations. It should come with a zipper. "We should remodel it," commented my lovely bride of sixteen years. A word to the wise; should you hear such word...
