I am a mom of four, 2 boys ages 8 and 3 and 2 girls ages 12 and 2. I have always been interested in writing and have recently rediscovered the passion. I hope to use Helium as a sounding board, so to speak, and improve my writing skills. I find it hard to write in other genres besides creative writing (specifically sci-fi/fantasy) and hope I can expand my repertoire to include factual articles, romance, advice, and more.

We decided to move to a small town where, despite only having a population of 209, my husband had a good job. We were tired of only being a family on the weekends and there was a house available for rent in the town. Just as the decision was reached, I discovered I was pregnant with my second child.
