Stephen Severino is a poet, essayist, and novelist. He is the originator of Antisystematicism, the belief that man is bigger than the systems he creates, even systems of thought. His writing invokes discomfort in readers, forcing them to examine the filters they use to make sense of the world in hopes that such filters will be discarded in favor of a more intuitive sense.
