I am a political and cable news junkie. I grew up in a family of eccentric lawyers; arguing about politics is, thus, my favorite sport. I love to run; I have completed six marathons and am probably going to get sucked into doing another one this February even though I have repeatedly vowed not to. I love to blog (http://ashadeandd.blogspot.com/) about all of the interesting and/or stupid things I say and do whilst working as a stay at home mother. I was born and raised in Utah. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in American Studies. Yes, I am LDS (mormon.) I live in Loma Linda, CA where my husband is currently attending dental school. Someday when we are not already thousands of dollars in debt for school, I will attend law school. In the meantime, I am going to indulge in my passion for the written word and hopefully earn a bit of extra cash while I enjoy this fleeting time with my growing son...and dog.
