I'm a 38 year old mother of 5 and I've been married 4 times. My first husband hit me. My second husband turned out to be gay. My third died in a car accident and my fourth and I have been together for a million years. My life has been anything but average. I was raised in a communal house on the eastern shore by hippie parents, but my life is my own. Over the years, I have struggled for normalcy, but my upbringing and thought processes have kept me from that. Most of my discussions are based upon my life and my thoughts. I think the first thing to take into account when speaking of homosexuality in society is exactly what it means to be homosexual. First and foremost, a homosexual person is a person who is attracted to his/her own gender, whether they act on that attraction or not.
