I never finished anything in my life. I would start with great enthusiasm and little by little (yawn) I was bored. I have so many things I have to finish.
I was surfing the net looking at writing schools, because my sister happened to like a letter I had written. I found a school that gave an aptitude test and accepted only one third of their applicants. After checking the BBB and found out they were on the level I took the test.
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and graduated high school in 1964. School was not a priority and neither was mastering the English language. So when the school called and said I was accepted I was shocked. More shockingly I finished the course. It took two years and I learned a lot. With so much more to learn. Youth is definitely wasted on the young. Else I wouldn't have been in my late 50's to find something I love doing.
