I was born an artist but morphed into a writer as I gained in years. How this process happened I do not quite understand yet I'm certain it had nothing to do with my childhood aversion to tomatoes.
For me, writing is the addictive flirtation with the metaphorical boiling saucepan whose lid is ready to blow. It rumbles, dances, shakes and groans with tension, then suddenly as the bubbles rise ever higher, it explodes releasing a volcano of breathtaking creativity and glowing sedimentation. Of course it also helps pay my ebay fees and buy the cats their munchies. All four of the wide-eyed brutes.
I'm an 'entrepreneur' and have no qualms about admitting spell-check corrected said word. I do know however, the correct spellings of 'dedication' and 'substance'. Both these words being vital ingredients that go into every piece of writing I work on. My literary reputation along with my business reputation are very important to me.
I'm the owner of three blogs and one website. My main blog is called Beaman's World and contains much of my poetry and observations of life. My business website is called Beaman's Bazaar and contains a lot of sexy lingerie but unfortunately no briefs.
