Probably one of the worst things that can happen to a parent is when there child runs away. I found it amazing how quickly community and law enforcement immediately believes that the parent is the cause of the child taking off. Obviously if everything was okay at home, and you were getting along with your child, your child would not have ran away.
This is a nightmare that you can not imagine, unless of course you have lived it. I once thought that when I heard parents say, he/she was there one moment, then gone the next, and that no one was helping them, to be a little bit unbelievable....
