In today's society, a teacher almost needs a behavioral science degree to deal with everyday classroom agendas. Respect for authority within children, young and older, seems to be at an all time low. In the past, when a student was disruptive, the child was sent to the hallway, ban from the activity, or quite often, sent to have a chat with the pricipal. Depending on the severity of the offence, they were often given an after school detention for an hour, the same day as the offence. What happened to those days?
