: About Me

Hello!

My name is Eugene W. Carmichael. I am a retired person who was born and brought up in the lovely islands of Bermuda, located off the east coast of The United States of America, on the same line as North Carolina.

Bermuda, I must say was a wonderful place in which to spend my formative years. In those days it truly was another world.

Now, together with my family I am living my retirement years in Valencia, Spain, because we wanted the challenge of learning a new language and new customs. I also have been able to re-invent myself as a writer, now that I have the time. I am published in various newspapers and magazines here in Spain in the English press.

I enjoy writing about life, now that I have had the opportunity to experience many years of it. I find, with the benefit of hindsight that my views of what makes the world go round are a lot clearer now. I intend to learn even more from my fellow writers, while at the same time I hope to share some of my very diverse life, especially the customs of Spain with readers.
