Ten years ago, I finished the manuscript on my first novel, THE SORCERER'S CONFESSION. How time flies when you're having fun!
I am now working on the Sequel to SORCERER. The point of writing here is instant gratification, whether anyone pays me or not. It's good to see oneself in print, isn't it?
Even though I had some excellent reviews on my novel, The Midwest Book Review called it a "tour de force," first novel and New Times dedicated a page to it, life got in the way of writing for a while. Who am I kidding; it was a whole decade!

I've traveled, studied the occult and the spiritual, raised 3 daughters, been separated from a husband, sold countless houses as a Realtor, but generally not lived the life I'd planned. John Lennon said, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." So true.

Any one of you reading this, please take note: If writing is the life you want, don't quit, keep on keeping on. If you don't, you're likely to wake up one day and think to yourself,"Gee, I was supposed to be a writer, wasn't I?"

DOOM AND GLOOM IS OVERRATED! Looking at the bright side of our current real Estate Market, if you want to buy a new home, now is the time. Home prices have fallen approximately 20%-25% in some areas since the boom ended. That's not so bad when you consider that home prices in Nevada and California almost doubled between Jan/04 and Jan/05. When I bought my home in Southern Nevada, the value increased 10% while I was in escrow and another 90% due to the raging market for homes. So now, in 2008, my value has dropped by 20% since 2005.
