I'm a devout and catechized Catholic. When I hear or read profoundly stupid remarks about my church, I get a little angry. I pray that the Lord will judge my anger to be righteous anger. After all, He turned the tables at the Temple when he felt that the holy place of worship was being exploited.
Look guys, if you don't want to be Catholic, don't. But don't try to hide behind your veil of ignorance as an excuse to spread lies about the only church that acknowledges Jesus as its founder. Don't just repeat what you've heard other people say about the Church. Grow up! Read the documents for your selves. Talk to a Catholic Priest. Wake up for God's sake! Hmmmm, better yet, wake up for your own sake! God really doesn't need you to wake up. He'd just like it a lot because He loves you.
How many truthful answers do you really think you will find in some splinter of Christianity founded more than 1500 years AFTER the birth of Christianity? Have you actually read the documents of some of these churches? Or do you handle them the same way you handle the documents of the Catholic Church? It's not wise to base your opinions on what you hear about a document rather than on what the document actually contains. No, wait. It's worse than "not wise". It's profoundly stupid. Your opinions are based on somebody else's ignorant opinions. Quit persecuting the Body of Christ! It's not good for your soul.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit asking for help to make a good confession. This means, "Help me know my sins in a way that makes me profoundly sorry for my...
