I chose this picture because I think it makes me look smart. Actually, I only get photographed on Halloween or at the D.M.V.. Thankfully I have not yet been photographed by an arresting officer.(knock on wood)!

I started making home-made candy about six years ago and through trial and error I have learned some things that are very important to know when making candy. If you are making candy that requires a candy thermometer, try to find a good metal one or a nice digital one. These prove to be more accurate then the glass ones.
