About me - S L McClutchie

About me

Hello. I grew up on a farm in England and now live in a village in the north of Hampshire(England) with my two young daughters and husband. I've recently escaped from the 'rat race' to concentrate on writing, and making life better for my family and me. My working background is in finance, Customer Service and HR the last of which I spent 10 years specialising in staff well-being, disciplinary and sickness absence. I have been fortunate enough to have done a fair bit of travelling, both the hard and easy way which has made me appreciate what and who I have in my life.

I'm one of the worlds best procrastinators!

I like to write about anything that catches my eye and that I hope will interest and help other people.

As mother duck suddenly emerges, She grabs the villain and submerges it. I stare in awe at her skill, Feeling pathetic as rats just make me feel ill. But here she is, tiny, feathered and brave, Saving her baby from such an early grave. The rat's been dismissed with a flea in it's ear. The babies quack happily, what a joy to hear. Suddenly the ducklings are splitting in half. Thankfully their quacking is still like a laugh. Their proud mother glides...
