On move-in day of my freshman year, I met the three people that would share a tiny quad with me for the next year. Our room housed these extremes: a sheltered, passive-aggressive girl from northeast suburbia; a free-spirited, political-activist from Seattle; an extremely cosmopolitan first-generation American; and me, an easy-going girl from the rural south.
