I am a wife and mom of an assorted variety of kids. My kids include my 2, our 1, his 2, a son and daughter in-law, 3 grandkids and a couple of dozen around our small town that have adopted me as their second mom. Lucky me, they always said I should have a couple dozen kids.
I tried the college scene for a while, at least till I had racked up a pretty healthy student loan bill. No degree, life called me back to be a mom. I've been caretaker to my dying sister-in-law, helped elders with getting their prescriptions and getting to the right doctors.
I write to get all of these careening thoughts and opinions out of my head. Therefore, my writing tends to be sometimes blunt, sometimes funny. Just depends on what order the thoughts emerge to escape from my fingertips.
I'm known for being brutally honest and straight-forward. Some find me amusing because I don't hold back when others would, I just let the "word vomit" flow then stand back wondering what I said and why are these people laughing.
I like to learn new things so least to say I spend several hours wandering around the internet looking at whatever catches my attention at the time. Usually ends up being productive though. I eventually find what I should have been looking for in the first place.
I am a stay at home mom, though my best friend says I'm one of the busiest people she knows. Little does she know that I fake it alot. Make them think your busy and they don't bother you quite as much. No really, I have to stay busy or go crazy.
If I failed to cover something feel free to ask. Just be sure you want to hear the answer first. ;0)

If I could have a one-hour interview with any one person, it would have to be with my father. You see, he was recently diagnosed with Acute adult Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Along with the news came a painfully sharp realization that I do not know my dad very well. Moreover, for the most part, it is my own fault. I moved out of his home when I was 16 and never really looked back. I had done a few things that I was sure he would not approve of and I did not want to hear it in his voice or see it in his eyes. I called the hospital the minute I received the news of his diagnosis and talked ...
