Wordplay has been a passion in my life from the time I could formulate written sentences. In writing poetry and prose, novellas and informative articles, the English language has always felt as comfortable as home to me. I can't list school credentials as I chose not to continue with traditional studies post-secondary school. Instead, as a dreamer who lives outside the box, I decided that I already had the skills I needed to become someone worth being.
To the amazement of skeptics both in my community and my family, I founded a non-profit animal rescue at the age of just 22. While most of my time is dedicated to the care and plight of homeless animals, I spend the rest of my time writing, elbow deep in artwork of various types, or researching various topics so I can better my progress in the path I've chosen. In my freelance work I have written articles on training, health care, animal behavior, rescue, pet loss, and other hot topics for other rescues and my own website: www.starfishtothesea.org. My writing ability is not contained in one area, and I have written nonfiction, reviews, and many web pages. If I am not currently familiar with a topic, I will study and research until I gain the knowledge necessary to create a fluid, articulate piece that is sensible and professional.
There are few tasks that I can't complete in a timely manner: copywriting, transcription, dictation, and any manner of original written work.
I am always accepting invitations to write an article for a specific publisher, on any topic. I thoroughly enjoy receiving an assignment and putting all the pieces together to produce a thoughtful, fresh project.
When choosing me as a writer, you are choosing high quality, intelligent pieces and an upstanding work ethic. Allowing me to support your business by contributing something I love to do is like icing on my virtual cake.

Why I write ...
...because if I don't, I fear the accumulation of words will begin to seep from my ears.

Loren Eisley's "The Star Thrower" and the message it delivers: do we can for the sake of others, no matter how small the impact seems, because it is a blessing to be able to make a difference in someone else's life.
Traveling with your pet can be a great way to further your bond, and to include your four legged or feathered family member in your life away from home. Such a grand plan does not come without need for caution, though, so following these simple tips will help to insure that your pet is kept safe.
