My mother was a writer from her youngest girlhood, and she passed her passion on to me in utero. A romance novelist of the softest form, she weaned me on history and brought me up with sci-fi and mystery as my playmates and companions. I have never known a day without words and for as long as I can remember, the sound of her reading was the sound that I loved most in the world.
Thirty years have gone from that point, and I myself have strived every day to become what I loved best. I am a Writer, and one blessed to have the greatest teachers and examples. The written word is my chariot and starship, my key to all the world of yesterday and tomorrow, and maybe, and never.
