I have a BA in English and a Master's Degree in Education and taught high school for several years.

I've published an offline women's newsletter. I've worked at a radio station (on air and off) writing contests, teasers, donor dedication spots, commercials and devotionals.

I have been published on Rick Warren's Pastors.com, and in Woman's Day. My quotes and ideas were used in several books by Grace Fox, and Leslie Vernick.

Currently, I work for my husband's packaging company and write website, and presentation copy

Four years ago, our family sought an inexpensive, meaningful tradition that lasted through Christmas lights, Valentine's hearts and Easter eggs. It also needed to be understood by our 6 year old son, Jordan, and easy for him to be a part of. Our family's "special plate" tradition was born. We headed to the pottery painting shop and painted an oversized dinner plate with tropical yellows, stripes of green, and white dots.
