I am a 52-year-old sixth generation Californian who moved 35 times before I was 18 years of age. Inside the United States I've lived in Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and California. Outside the United States, I've lived in Geneva, Switzerland, and Apizaco, Tlaxcala, Mexico. I speak three languages fluently: English, French and Spanish.
My formative years were spent moving from town to town, relative to relative, and one stranger to the next. While growing up I lived in Newark, Livermore, Tracy, Stockton, Sebastopol, San Francisco, Fresno, Newcastle, and Mountain View, all cities in California. I've also lived in Coos Bay, Oregon; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Las Vegas, Nevada. My perspective on life was one of a poor, White trash, migrant, divorced family.
At age 20 I had a chance to completely change my paradigm and moved to Geneva, Switzerland. I lived there for nearly four years and worked for Swissair. During this time frame I was able to visit 15 other countries. I also became fluent in French.
At age 25 I moved to Mexico. While there I lived in Mexico City, Puebla and Apizaco. I lived there for nearly four years as well. While in Mexico, I wrote a trilingual Metalurgical Engineering dictionary and 33 procedural papers. I also taught second and third year French to Hispanic students at L'Alliance Franaise de Puebla. I also started a family and became fluent in Spanish.
I returned to the United States in 1984 and have lived ever since in Los Angeles and Orange Counties in Southern California. I have helped companies move to Mexico under the Maquiladora program as well as setting up Materials Requirement Planning systems in others.

WINNABLE VS UNWINNABLE WARS (Why the US has already lost in Afghanistan and Iraq) The United States is currently involved in two wars in which it has absolutely no chance of winning. This was actually known from the outset and the goal was never to win these wars, but rather to use them to specific and strategic ends that would give direction to the military-industrial complex for any future wars that may occur. The bold statements above can be easily proven, but to do so, the concept of a winnable versus an unwinnable war needs to be established. And in order to do that, we must first def...
