Dog Days I was awakened by the aroma and sounds of coffee brewing at dawn. It was Rex's daily routine to start the coffee pot, then head back upstairs to shower and shave. This prompted me to stretch, yawn, and run along before he discovered the mess I left on the carpet in the den. What do people expect us to do when we're trapped inside for twelve hours at a time?
