: About Me

Hello, fellow writers and website visiters. I'm coming to you from Saratoga Springs, New York. Quite the pictoresque town and busy in the summertime with horse racing and SPAC at its height as a music venue.

Once upon a time, I was a school teacher, then a front desk supervisor, waitress, and finally an Event Coordinator. Throughout my career journey, I have been travelling to check out what else life has to offer besides the mundane 9-5 routine. 

All in all, I've always loved to write. Ever since grade school when my teacher encouragd me to keep a writing portfolio with poetry and short stories,

So, one day I was checking out "this and that" on line and discovered Helium. One thing led to another and I decided to share my writing; a first for me.

I'm still exploring other avenues of writing along with Helium and still have a short portfolio of unfinished drafts going right now. I look forward to being a part of the Helium team to write, rate and glean from the network of intelligence and life experiences from my co-writers.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

suspense movies/novels. My emotions rise and fall with each scene/chapter!

My first job ...

...waiting tables in a resort restaurant. I had to wear an...interesting...uniform- a white blouse with puffed sleeves topped with a blush-rose jumper! Yuck!

My best moment ...

...no doubt my first road trip...East Coast America! On the road just me solo and free!

My inspiration ...

...this life...my roller-coaster of fun - pitch high and deep down!

Serving may be viewed as an easy occupation by restaurant patrons. What does the waiter or waitress do, in fact, on a day to day basis? S/he might clock in, set up the kitchen condiments, fold napkins, polish silverware along with various other mundane tasks. Simple? Yes.
