Hello,
I am an English teacher who lives in a small Californian Bungalow with my daughter, two cats, one puppy and one hen. We did have a rooster, but we were forced to donate him to the local animal shelter, due to his noise and his increasing level of aggression - particularly when our hen was Sitting. We got him when he was six weeks old, and he was supposed to be a hen! We figured something was up when he started crowing instead of laying eggs.
I have been teaching for the past five years, but decided to take some time out this year, and focus on the ambition I've had ever since I was eight years old... to be a writer. Consequently, I have reduced my teaching commitments to Casual Relief Teaching, and have joined a number of Freelance Writers sites.
So here goes. Wish me luck, and I look forward to meeting you in the community.
Best regards
Sue Ryan
