An early introduction to the Performing Arts and my mother's Visual Art instilled in me a love of the creative process and all art. This love led me to New York.
After some years on the front lines of New York's hopefuls, battling the elements of mass transit, crowds and sensory overkill. Armed with an arsenal of acting, dance, and voice technique training, I sought LA, only to find that if you were female and over 25, you had a better shot at single-handedly winning the World Series, than you did of ever working in that town. But it was fun, glamorous, surreal, educational, oh so cutting edge, and way too expensive. And it shakes.
Moving back to my native NC, forever in pursuit of the illusive film career, in Wilmington, NC, I realized something had to give. I moved back to Greensboro, to study Graphic Design, while styling themed events for caterers, all the while plotting to find a creative outlet in the workplace and get paid for it.
Three years and a Graphic Design degree later, I fell into writing Advertising, PR, and Marketing material for home furnishings manufacturers at The Daly Group, in Greensboro. So far, my favorite projects have been ghostwriting three of Joe Carroll's The Perfect Home books, especially, Michael Amini: The Grand Tour. With the recession and print publications vanishing at an alarming rate, I sought freelance web content, blog editing and article writing, and here I am. Noting that I neglected to finish my Bachelor's degree, I am now enrolled in Guilford College in the writing program with a CMIT minor, for web design and such.

The hottest new winter sports The hottest new winter sports are not for the faint of heart. With the possible exception of airboarding, the hottest new winter sports involve a considerable amount of alpine expertise, specialized equipment, a penchant for flying and the need to defy gravity. Airboarding New to the US, but widely enjoyed in Europe, airboarding features an inflatable high tech sledding device with a grooved underside for precision turning and stopping. Airboards can go as fast as 80 miles per hour giving them something of a James Bond appeal, only to be brought back...
