I am just starting to write again, which is what I'd really wanted to do in the first place. I graduated from college with a degree in English and Secondary Education. But, instead of becoming a teacher, I followed a childhood dream of joining the military and I became an officer in the Air Force. After getting married and pregnant and finding out that our next assignment would separate us for the first year of our son's life, I decided to separate from the military. Now, as a stay-at-home Mommy, I have some time on my hands to pursue writing. I am really enjoying exploring this side of myself. I am exploring writing fiction, non-fiction and even some poetry.
My passion is ...
My family...My son and my husband
I know too much about ...
Literature
My parents always told me ...
I would never make it in the military...but I did.
My childhood ambition ...
To be a part of something bigger than myself.
Why I write ...
To release all the words that are stuck in my head.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Revisions from my editor on my young adult novel draft
My first job ...
Waitressing
My best moment ...
Giving birth to my son.
My inspiration ...
Reading.

And, long gone are the days of good old Pop sitting in the waiting room, wringing his hands in worry, waiting for the moment when he can break out the cigars to pass around. Still, there are ways for Daddy-to-be to make himself useful on the big delivery day.
Useful Daddy Tip #1: Pack Mule
Don't forget a single thing that your mom-to-be needs for the hospital. That means making sure she's packed and ready to go...
