Hi All
I'm happy to be here at Helium and I hope to contribute articles the are helpful and enjoyable. I've been writing articles for websites of all kinds for about five years now and I truly love to write. I live in S.W. Florida and have been here for almost 30 years now but my heart is still in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee where my dad was born and raised and brought me there when I was a little girl to raise me. I had hoped to get back there so I could be closer to my dad and other siblings, however, God decided his work here was done and he was needed elsewhere and we lost him. He will always live in my heart and I'm happy he's in a better place.
I hope to be as good of writer as I can and I hope to write the kind of articles that help others, even if it's just to brighten someones day. Sounds sappy, I know but it's honest. I hope to be meeting some of you as well and I'm sure I will be reading some great stuff contributed by others. Contact me anytime and good luck to all.

In 1998 Deborah Dalziel and colleagues research coordinators for the University of Florida Veterinary Medicine, did a study on 29 dogs. Of the 29, only nine of t...
