I am an aspiring freelancer. Not hard to believe, only a month in I haven't had the luxury of quitting my other day job, but that's the dream.
Every chance to write that doesn't pay off monetarily, at this stage of the game, I am happy to add to my "writing samples" and chalk up to good and much needed experience and exposure.
Writing is a passion I have had since childhood but a willingness and wanting to share what I write is relatively new. I graduated a couple years ago with a B.A. in English.
I am more comfortable writing in the realm of fiction although I don't limit myself to it.
Humor is my literary crutch, even in the most ma cab of subject matter it seems to be readily and appropriately available for exploitation.
