About me, Hmmm...

Now there's a topic that could fill a book or two. A happily married father of three, struggling to do what everyone else dreams of doing (escaping the rat race and STILL being able to find the time to read a story at bedtime - and one to the kids if they've been behaving!)...

I like my wife, my kids, my food, my books, my technology, squash, Judo, flying kites and most other martial arts (probably in that order) and I'd like to think that I'm suitably qualified in all of the above to eloquently express my thoughts for the greater good.

I firmly believe in the old adage of being here for a good time as opposed to a long time, but is it me or does the price of a good time keep going up and up?

My passion is ...

Life (or at least I'd like it to be) - oh and not forgetting the wife and kids of course!

I know too much about ...

way too much about technology, video games, kiteflying, martial arts, the secret lives of bird (ok the last one is an album by Jethro Tull).

My parents always told me ...

Sit up straight, don't interrupt 8-)

My childhood ambition ...

Be my own boss (and obviously to be Action Man / 007 / Astronaut / Deep Sea Diver / Bruce Lee)

Being present at the birth of my kids

Because no one will sit and listen long enough when I talk!
