My passion for writing started when I was very young. I thank my early education teachers for encouraging me to read a variety of material and for encouraging me to write as much as I could. I knew this is what I wanted to do but didn't know how to make that happen.
During the years of raising my daughter and working outside my home, writing was put on the backburner. Now that I have more time I am able to revisit my passion.
With the invention of the Internet and thanks to Helium.com, I am now able to realize a dream of seeing my works in print. It can only get better from here on out.
My goal is to ultimately write a book on life experiences. Will I succeed? That remains to be seen but with all the feedback and constructive critiques I have received from other writer's on Helium, it could be a real possibility.
Another of my quirks is reading that is why each member of my family receives books every year for Christmas. Who knows I may inspire another writer in this family because they love to read and write as much as I do.
7/17/08 I just received an email that announced the purchase of one of my articles. I am so excited. Here is the perfect reason for me to continue writing as I may never get rich but the words, "One of your articles has been purchased", feels like winning the lottery to me.

After spending hours, days, weeks and even months collecting the treasures to be placed under the tree, there comes the tasks of wrapping the gifts. Sometimes it feels like it takes longer to wrap them than it did to find and purchase them. If only a person could wrinkle their noses and the task could be done. This won't happen but it is a nice thought. Not everyone is proficient at wrapping gifts. It can be very frustrating to someone who doesn't have the patience to sit for the length of time it takes to wrap gifts. Others just plain hate the thought of wrapping presents. So how do...
