Hi fellow writers! I feel like Alice falling down the rabbit hole as I embark on this journey! Who knows what adventures lie in store! Writing is my passion. I've been writing for many years- I began by writing letters to my children - my plan is to compile them in book form. I dream about what I write and write about my dreams. Each life is unique and my writer's prayer is to be given the wisdom to help and inpire others.
I have written for the local newspaper, had tips accepted and pubished by "Family Circle", and currently have a true story awaiting publication in "Angel's on Earth" magazine- a sister magazine to "Guideposts".
Recently, I began working through Julia Cameron's awesome book "The Artist's Way". I am determined to work through the book completely. I believe it is one of the best books written to help artists of any kind "unblock" their creativity. .
"But look how old I'll be if I learn to play the piano!"
"You will be the same age as if you didn't learn!"
So simple- yet so profound. As a writer, I must write. It takes time- and hard work. As a quote from my favorite children's book says:
, "You don't just become- it takes time!"
THE VELVETEEN RABBIT
The writers I admire the most? Maeve Binchy, that great Irish storyteller, and C.S. Lewis- one of the few writers I've come across who actually thinks a thought all the way through!
Happy writing and I look forward to meeting many of you through your writings!

Is being gay a gift from God? What a strange question this is. My personal opinion could be right or wrong. My opinion doesn't matter. But God's opinion does! As for the idea that the Bible may be the musings of men, that is the opinion of men. Again, the opinion doesn't matter. It could be right or wrong. But God says,"without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is," (Heb. 11:6) Our way is to say "show me and I'll believe you". God's way says "believe me and then I will show you". As a Christian I have to answer no, being gay is not a gift ...
