Welcome, I hope you enjoy our visit. You are some of my favorite people. I like to watch you, as you help me grow. That's what is so fascinating about writing. I can include you in my life and write my way into yours.
Writing professionally for about three years, I seek learning and crave it. I'm fascinated with words. I love how words can be selected and ordered to affect each person a little differently. I was a licensed practical nurse for nearly 20 years and that does influence my writing as do a lot of my experiences.
I have since earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska. It's a terrific college if you're looking for one, and they do have online courses with a proven curriculum.
Through Peru State, I also gained Certificates of Achievement in Writing for Publication, Human Resource Management and Office Management.
I still carry the Kansas farm girl in my soul and transplanted about 34 years ago to Nebraska less than an hour from home. My husband and I have traveled East, West, and South, so it's time to go north when it gets warmer.
We have three grown children and six gorgeous grandchildren. My family knows they are not a bit safe from my musings and postings. They still let me come home.
My passion is fiction and non-fiction, with poetry thrown in. I do love to write about the way I see the events in the world and so opinion articles fascinate me. I enjoy researching the guts for a story or article. The cerebral data input in the world or just setting next to you are beautiful in their ability to teach some piece of something.
I have had articles, poems, and some short stories published at http://www.writespot.org and my personal blog can be found at http://www.wordsprings.blogspot.com
Happy day to all and God bless.
My favorite hobbies are:

Pink April
Today I'll buy a pink brassiere
wear under sheer white top.
Not any day would be so brash
to celebrate my breasts.
But now as April proves
my cup can yet be full.
I've need for outward sign
of what the doctor's left.
Today I'll buy pink ribbons
to turn about in bows
and join them pinned
as million others will
to celebrate woman's gift.
The sweet milk suckled
from our nipples
by tender newborn mouth
cleave two mounds of flesh
for proud bellies filled
Today I'll touch unashamed
the curve upon my chest.
What God endowed be as it is
no need to hide from me.
If it be gone...
