About me

Born in the fifties, raised in the wonderful sixties and seventies.
A wonderful varied life, raised in Indiana, moved to Bahamas for teen years. Went "to sea" at 17 and traveled and lived all over Central America. Moved to Tampa, Fl 20 years ago and stayed.
Married, Diane, who I met 36 yrs ago in Freeport, Bahamas.
And we have lasted 30 years with two great kids and 5 grandkids.
After being a short order cook, engineer on large boats,failed dairy farmer/horse racer, salesman settled on the boat business. Currently own a Boat and Motor repair business with my Son started in 1987.
I read constantly, both magazines, books, books on tape almost anything. Hunting and fishing are my big hobbies.
My dream is to somehow combine my veried life and memories into a novel and be published.

We have the highest rate of violent crime per ca-pita in the world and lead in additional categories like drug abuse, sexual deviance and domestic violence. The police and judicial system is overloaded and overwhelmed. In short it is not working. In most cities and towns if you were to dial 911 and declare an emergency it will take 10 to 20 minutes for the police to respond to the scene. If they were to arrest someone he would more than likely be released ...
