Let's see....I'm thirty years old, very happily married to the best husband ever and I'm a SAHM. My husband and I have three children; one son and two girls. I homeschool our children. Homeschooling is a passion of mine and I love encouraging people who are considering educating their children at home.
I am a Bible-believing Christian and am very strong in my faith. Some people seem to believe that once you say you are a "Christian" that you make no mistakes, never lose your temper and are basically a saint. LOL! I'm living proof that that is certainly not true. I'm only human although I have been called Supermom by some. ;-)
I absolutely, without a doubt, *love* being with my children, spending time with them, teaching them, not only about their academic subjects, but also about life. My husband and I are very family oriented people and we both agree that childhood is fleeting so we'd like to enjoy our children to the full extent, while they are still young.
I am an avid reader and have been since I was four years old. My current faves are the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich, but I'll read anything I can get my hands on.

My inspiration ...
My children are my inspiration.

I am currently educating all three of my children at home and will continue to do so, God willing, for the rest of their school years. In traditional schools, the students are at a disadvantage because not all children learn the same way. Some grasp concepts quickly, others struggle because they need it explained to them in a different way. Perhaps they are visual learners or kinesthetic learners. A homeschooling parent knows his/her child(ren) best and can adapt to their learning styles. Another advantage of homesc...
