: About Me

I live in a town so small, the population is in the hundreds! Fortunately, we are in a small county in the heart of PA where everybody knows everyone, and boundaries are not set by individual towns, but by the county in which we live. I was born in one town, grew up in two others, and now live in a different one. This is an advantage, as I know many more people of this county than some of our local politicians. I live in the middle class by income, but I have a high class mind set and try to live my life that way. My favorite saying is "Do unto others" and I have tried to raise my kids with that motto as well. I write a weekly column in our local paper and I try to open peoples minds, as well as their hearts with my ramblings of small town life, big city thinking, and funny but sometimes heart twisting stories of personal experiences, fond memories, and big ideas. I have no formal writing experience, and that may come through in my work. I write for the common people and have received many phone calls and emails from all over the US complimenting me on the way I speak to people on an upbeat, comical, 'no holds barred' kind of way. I write only about things I know and have strong conviction for. I am honest to a fault, sometimes foul mouthed, I say what is on my mind, and ALWAYS find a reason to wear 4" heels! I write because it releases me. I empty myself on paper, and have no fear of judgment. I am who I am; I may not be perfect, but I am perfectly okay with who I am.
