I am a woman of few words nowadays. After blowing so much steam I realized that the only way to strike at the very core of humanity was to speak when needed, but when that time came-use my words carefully and with precision. Using words in such a manner is my goal in writing. Russian author Isaac Babel understood how to use words. He could develop a story using only ONE page because he understood emotion and language. My hope is that I will be able to use my words just as effectively as he did during his era of writing.

The irony of Halloween is that it was kept by the Catholic church in order to entice the Irish and Celtic Britons to convert them to the Church. The same goes for El Dia de Muerte. The holiday then became commercialized through corporations and it is agreeable that the festivities, costumes, and other unmentionables have gotten out of hand.
